I have often said that I wish I had invented blue jeans: the most spectacular, the most practical, the most relaxed and nonchalant. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity – all I hope for in my clothes.

Denim. Denim. Denim.
Ever wondered how to create an all over denim style? It’s as simple as the material itself.
I combined two similar blue tones with one another. The effect which is caused by such an combination is that your two piece set looks like a one-piece.
The accessories I choose are colored in different gold hues. I decided for gold as the second color because it’s already in the details of the denim jacket by Mango. In this way it emphasizes the embroidery and adds a feminine touch to the cool material.
Never thought about tucking a jacket into a pair of jeans before but it turned out to look good and natural. (If you never try something you’ll never know 😉 )
Although I decided to go for two similar blue denim pieces you can also go with a brighter and darker version and combine these two. The contrast between two shades of blue can be very beautiful and exciting. You can play with other shades of blue for the accessory game or decide to add another color to create stronger contrasts.
White for example looks wonderful with denim blue, as well as silver and of course black.
How do you guys like denim looks?
