This week was all about huge fashion announcements.
And I’m sure you heard about the news too!
First things first:
Gucci decided to create all their products fur free.
Yep. I’m not joking over here. Every item will be changed to fake fur!
The famous Gucci slippers for the colder season for example going to be without camel hair.
(Although they decided to switch to wool instead).
The huge change is going to happen with their SS18 collection.
Question is: are you in for that change or aren’t you?
I read a few comments on IG which divided the people into two groups.
One which was impressed by the consciousness of the brand and the other which was sad about the “quality loss”.
I have to say that I’m not quite sure about it as well.
On one hand: I love animals. I’m a vegetarian. And I think fake fur is just as beautiful as real fur.
Or even more beautiful because no animals were harmed while the production. 😉
Even tough they aren’t quite consequent by using wool instead of polyacrylamide or something like that.
But: it’s a step in the right direction!
On the other hand: I have to admit that I have a few leather pieces and I really appreciated a good leather bag or shoe.
Would I love the Gucci products and their “new” quality as much as they weren’t made of real leather?
That’s somehow hard to answer.
What do you think?
ERDEM X H&M
Next huge fashion news this week.
H&M finally revealed the whole new designer collection with Erdem. And I have to say that after a few flops this year with their Studio collection they seem to be back on train. That collection is seriously breaking my heart.
I want it all! ♥
The floral and feminine thumbprint of the designer is well reflected in the pieces which he designed for H&M.
I really can’t wait to see all those beautiful products in store on 2nd of November.
Have you seen the collection yet?
If not check out the lookbook here.
What are your fav pieces? And are you going to storm the stores like me? 😉
Look of the week
This week was super sunny in Munich. The perfect golden autumn weather if you’ll ask me.
As the sun was shining and it was warm a trenchcoat seemed to be a great solution. For most of the dressing problems I needed to work with layers as you can see in this look.
I wore a trenchcoat by Monki. Underneath I went for a thin camisole by H&M with a beautiful and delicate lace. To create a total off-white look I decided to go for striped linen pants and my Mango bag. The golden flats are by H&M.
By the way: a trenchcoat is in my opinion the best uniform for fall… 😉
Have a wonderful week!
