A while ago I decided it’s time for me to get something special for myself.
Despite studying and blogging I also have a part-time job in Munich to make a life here possible.
It’s a pretty expensive city. Tust me.
I forced myself to save money. You may remember my consumption post (otherwise you can find it here) where I’ve told you that I don’t want to invest loads of money in fast fashion anymore.
Around Christmas I decided to get my very first designer bag.
(I also own the little No. 21 which is also a designer bag somehow but it’s not the same 😀 )
I had a poll on IG if I should get myself the J.W. Anderson Pierce or the Chloé Nile bag.
The most of you voted for the Nilé – and I myself was thinking about buying the Nilé as well.
The special cut of the bag, the opportunity to wear it cross-body and also the wonderful round handle make it to such a wonderful bag.
But as you can see on my pictures, I decided to go for the Pierce bag.
Somehow I like the style of the Pierce. It’s a medium sized bag, the colors are perfect and I like the piercing detail, which is cool and cute (it reminds me of the nose of a little pig) at the same time.
This is the first look I’ve created with my new baby.
I combined it with a striped pants from H&M. The colors of the stripes are exactly the same as the bag.
As it’s still super cold in Munich I wore a blouse from the Erdem x H&M collection and put my black Paris sweater by & Other Stories on top of it.
For the shoes I went for plain white sneakers.
To top the outfit off I went for my new baker boy hat by Zara. While shooting these images with me my boyfriend made the joke that I look like an engine driver who is going to Paris.
Maybe these words describe the look pretty well. 😀
Although I’m super in love with my Pierce I’m still thinking about buying the Nilé one day (maybe as a Birthday present for myself? (it’s in March btw)).
What do you think as you are seeing me wearing the Pierce bag now? Sad that I didn’t buy the Chloé in the first place?
Lots of love your way,
